The Louisiana Sinfonietta under the direction of Dinos Constantinides will present its second concert of the season at the LSU School of Music Recital Hall.
Three of Mozart’s compositions are on the program: the third Violin Concerto in G Major with Greek violinist Paris Paraschoudis as soloist; the Oboe Concerto with LSU Professor James Ryon as soloist; and Duo Concertone for two violins and orchestra. Two principal players of the Louisiana Sinfonietta, Kelly Smith Toney (concertmaster) and Stefka Madere (principal second) will be the soloists for this closing piece. 2 pm.

Michael Gurt will perform the Tchaikovsky Concerto #1 with the Lansing Symphony Orchestra, Timothy Muffitt, conductor. The concert will be held on Friday, October 1, at 8PM, at the Wharton Performing Arts Center, East Lansing, Michigan.
